When can I see you?

I offer 50-60 minute sessions at Winslow House in Lower Hutt on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Sessions start at 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:15pm, or 3:30pm. I try to offer the same time each week or fortnight.

What is the cancellation policy?

There is a 50% cancellation fee where less than 24hrs notice is provided and the full rate applies for missed appointments. Preferably 48hrs notice is given so I can offer this time to someone else. Sessions are confidential and information will only be shared with client permission, in supervision, or if there are concerns regarding harm. What areas do you work in?

I work in (but am not limited to) these areas: Abuse, ACC Sensitive Claims, anger management, anxiety, body related issues, depression, eating related issues, grief and bereavement, health anxiety, identity and gender difficulties, life transition & adjustment issues, OCD, phobias, PTSD, difficulties with voices, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, sexual abuse, trauma, and work stress.

How much does it cost?

Sessions are $207 ($180 +GST) for private clients  and $200+GST ($230) through organisations. An invoice with the bank details will be emailed following each session. I request that payments are made within 24hrs of each session.

What can I expect?

As a clinical psychologist, the basis of our work is talk therapy. I take notes and am happy to provide copies of the work we do. I also use metaphor, a variety of exercises, and may suggest ‘between session practice’, as these can contribute to the change you’re after.
